What is Self Care ?

SELF CARE is about individuals taking responsibility for their own health, well being & their environment (indoors & outdoors). It is a combination of self analysis and natural self remedies. This includes staying fit & healthy, both physically & mentally, taking action to prevent illness and accidents, better use of medicines, treatment of minor ailments with natural remedies and better care of long term conditions. Self Management is whatever we do to make the most of our lives by coping with our difficulties and making the most of what we have. It also includes how we manage or minimize the ways the condition limits our lives as well as what we do to feel happy and fulfilled to make the most of our lives despite the condition.
